Terms & conditions
Last updated: October 13, 2026
These terms apply to the use of this website and to any payment made on it. By paying, you accept them. The service is provided by Mateo Tamayo, Málaga, Spain (simplelogin-newsletter.exile221@simplelogin.com).
1. The service
Treetop Cup displays a forest of Christmas trees, one per company. Each payment adds to the company's total and makes its tree taller (height = 10 cm × √ total in dollars). Trees are ordered by total paid; the tallest stands in the center. The service is visibility on this website; there is no other product or prize.
2. Editions and time zones
Each edition ends when New Year reaches Baker Island (UTC−12). When New Year reaches each time zone, the tallest tree at that moment is shown as that zone's winner. After the grand final a new edition starts with an empty forest; past champions are listed on the site.
3. Company names
You may only enter the name of a company you represent or have the right to promote. Names must not be offensive, misleading, illegal, contain links, or impersonate another company or person. We may remove, hide or correct any name that breaks these rules, at our discretion.
4. Prices and payment
You choose the amount, from $1 to $50,000 per payment, in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe. See Payments & taxes.
5. Refunds
Refunds follow our refund policy.
6. Availability
We try to keep the site online at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Positions and heights shown are those recorded by our system and by Stripe.
7. Liability
The service is provided as is. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your payment.
9. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes are submitted to the courts of Málaga (Spain), without prejudice to the rights consumers have to go to the courts of their place of residence.
